Crna Tamjanika

Rare. Ancient. Nearly extinct. A grape variety characteristic of the Eastern Serbia region and Negotinska Krajina. Grown in these areas since the middle of the 14th century, and now restored. We took the seedlings from the Bukovo Agricultural School, as they were the only bearers of the autochthonous black tamjanika at that time.

Aroma and Taste

The wine is of powerful brick color, with intense varietal aromas of strawberry and rose. Its pleasant, smooth character and perfect balance between acidity and subtle sweetness provide an experience that leaves a lasting impression on the senses.

Production Process

It ages both in inox and oak barrels, and then it is blended. This way we get the freshness of wine on one side, while the other provides subtle wood aromas, softer tannins, better harmony with its typical acids and a longer finish.

How to Drink

It is best served slightly chilled at a temperature of around 12-14°C. Be sure to try it on special occasions, with close friends, in romantic moments or when you want to enjoy a unique wine that leaves a memorable impression.
